Where did you get your inspiration for this video?

"I'm an 18-year old Canadian artist. Wallpaper is an ambient cello/vocal duo that underlines political statements and world wide controversial topics. I hope this song paints a picture in the audience’s mind and makes us all think harder about our actions. The theme is inspired from the darker shades of society and a spiralling world. I grew up with the digital movement witnessing such events as Katrina, 911, the Japan earthquake, terrorism, and Amanda Todd’s suicide. I cut my craft on the edge of these influences. I do all my video work myself. A friend, Lindsay Ralph helped film the footage. I did the post-production with iMovie.
