How did you come up with the idea for this video?

"Hip-Hop has become so overrun with this pop-centric mentality that the true lyricism of the art form is now buried in the underground scene. I decided to start a series of short, one verse videos to showcase true lyricism and the versatility inherent in real emcees. By making these videos short and to the point, focused solely on one verse, I hope to remove all distractions and invite the viewer to focus on the art form of rapping at its barest form: the 16-bar verse."
