How much preparation went into making this video and why?

"I knew when I made this song that I had to create a visual to it because of how the message and inspiration was based on something I always wanted to do! Growing up it was almost a competition in my town for who had the best house party/ outdoor "kick back". If you threw an epic party people would talk about it forever in Woodbridge, VA where I grew up! I always watched parties like project X and wished I could have been in a free setting with a night to remember like that! I posted a casting call on social media links such as Facebook and twitter, bought party favors such as balloons, ordered pizza which I ate while filming in the pool, and my band and I decorated the outside with Xmas lights. It was awesome to see old and new friends come by to help! We had a real celebration while filming which made the video come to life! "
