AVENUES – Light It Up

Have a quick look at AVENUES's most recent rock music video Light It Up. Here's what AVENUES had to say when we asked:

How did you come up with the idea for this video?

"We wanted a video that centred around the key lyric of "Light it up", and so the majority of ideas we had for the video involved the use of lights/flashes as a basis. We even thought about setting off loads of flares and fireworks but were a bit put off when we saw how much those massive rockets cost!!

In the end, we decided to film scenes of moving collections of lights from around our home city of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. We feel it gives our music a sense of geography that roots it to the city. We're immensely proud of where we come from and owe us forming as a band to living here. Although being deliberately out of focus, many of the scenes in the video can actually be recognised as local landmarks such as shopping centres, clubs and bars if you know what you're looking for!"
