Where did you get your inspiration for this video?

"Spock was my favorite character from the original Star Trek series, and I've always been a fan of Leonard Nimoy, the actor. When I learned of his passing, this song started brewing (the lyrics woke me up in the middle of the night, and I was up the rest of the morning working out the melody on my guitar). I was glad to be able to write, record, and make this video as a tribute to Leonard Nimoy, who was also a poet, musician, and photographer, among many other wonderful things. Rest in peace, Leonard. "
