How did you come up with the idea for this video?

"I try to make my music as realistic as possible. I think of things that have gone on in my life that define me to some extent that there aren't any, or few songs about. There are MILLIONS of people from a single parent home...some of which turned out badly, some of which turned out great. I just wanted to give them a voice. "
