Where did you get your inspiration for this video?

"Knowing that im living in a small state, Vermont, and knowing that I love music, i decided to make a homemade type video. I want to make a difference in Vermont and do something better and big with my music in the long run."

More Details Potent Jo was born "Josiah Leach" on August 26, 1998 in Burlington, Vermont. He was raised in Burlington, Vermont with his mother and father for 9 years, until his parents divorced when he was only 10. He then lived with his mother, brother, and sister, and is the youngest in his family. He attended public school also in Burlington, but transferred around alternatives because of various troubles. He is currently an independent artist, but known around in many areas. Potent Jo was influenced by Eminem, Jay-Z, 50 cent, Soulja Boy, and other major artists. At a very young age, he began to record himself rapping on tape recorders, karaoke machines, and other electronics he could find to record on. He began producing instrumentals at age 11, but then decided to start getting serious about rapping at age 13. After going through tough times with the law, at age 15 he was then put on home confinement and was left with nothing but school work, a laptop, and a microphone in his bedroom. He then started recording his first songs which gave his publicity and social media a boost and eventually helped get his music around different public schools, and other areas.
