How much preparation went into making this video and why?

"The video was filmed over 4 days and was all shot around sun-set and at night time so the light would create an atmosphere to fit the song. Inspiration also came from Terence Mailick films such as 'Days of Heaven' were filming would only take place at these times to capture the light.

I slept on Joe's (Young Causeway's other member) couch for four nights in a row to in order to make it.
It was directed, filmed and edited by professional film makers and friends Cecilia Conde and Paco Gelardo who came all way the way from Madrid to shoot in London.
When listening to the song back in Spain, Cecilia instantly had ideas for the track and had a whole folder of ideas when she arrived. We shot in a lot of different locations to give a sense of a long journey and feeling of escape. "
